When good intentions turn bad - donating your things

This scene is becoming far to familiar. Clothing donation bins being used to rid oneself of practically anything you have laying around your house.

Your intentions may be good, after all, you think you're helping out needy people. Unfortunately, if the bin is labeled as a Clothing Donation Bin, then that's all they want, and that's all they'll use. The majority of the time the non-clothing items will be thrown away. Most charity donation organizations are not equipped to handle non-clothing donations. There are charities that welcome almost anything, so please use such charities, and keep your good intentions out of a landfill.

April Fools - Does it get any better then this

I caught this gem of an April Fools prank yesterday. It's that classic trick you see on TV, but never actually see in person. To whomever pulled off this fantastic idea, my hat goes off to you.

Fill 'er Up

It takes a very skilled driver to pull up next to a gas pump. In fact, most drivers endure years of intense training to learn the delicate art of gas station etiquette. Unfortunately this particular driver is only in year 1 of the 6 year gas station parking course. With time he will learn, until then you can expect more of this type of behavior.
