It's only been a few days since that 12:01am start time finally arrived for the eager volunteers to plaster the city with hopeful candidates names and dreams. I hate this part of the race. I hate the waste these signs create, the ugliness they add to wherever they're erected, and the misguided message they pass along to everyone else.
I'm not alone in my distaste for election signs, therefore I, and the majority of Torontonians choose to not allow these signs on our property. That doesn't mean that we don't vote, and it doesn't mean that we don't support this person or that person. It just means that we don't want to advertise our preference.
The pictures are from Victoria Park and Ellesmere, I apologize for the poor quality of the shots. Quality aside, you can still see the quantity that I'm disgusted with. The pictures speak for themselves.
Vote as you wish, but don't allow them to litter our streets.
